Each application is a bit different, but in general you simply select the calendar to unsubscribe, then select Edit > Delete. Below in this help you will find more detailed instructions for most common calendar applications.
Most calendar applications remove alarms from calendar subscriptions. In order to see the alarms, in most cases you have to turn enable alarms in the subscription and remove filtering in your application. For details how to do this, take a look at the Help section for your platform/application below.
Alarms can be disabled either by having the calendar application remove them, or by disabling them at WebCal.Guru. This process shows how they are disabled from the subscription at WebCal.Guru. Note that disabling the alarms can be done with any device.
If the calendar can't be generated for any reason, its content is replaced by the error message. For example, if you have deleted the calendar subscription from WebCal.Guru, your calendar application will display an error.
WebCal.Guru can't remove the subscription from your calendar application. If you do delete a subscription, you must remove it manually from your calendar application.
Calendars, which are subscribed while not logged in, contain some ads. In order to get these calendars without ads, create an account and then subscribe to the calendar again. This will also provide other benefits, such as being able to modify the subscription settings. Once you've downloaded the new subscription, you should remove the old one to avoid having duplicate events.
When subscribing calendars to Apple devices, it can be done either directly to the device or via iCloud. The main difference is that when the subscription is done via iCloud, the subscription is automatically shared with all of the user's Apple devices. Usually this is just what the user wants.
On an iOS device (iPhone/iPad), it is not possible to subscribe via iCloud. All subscriptions done on an iOS device will be stored on that device only. Therefore it is recommended to subscribe using a Mac computer, and then the subscription is automatically shared with the iOS devices as well. Note that even if the subscription is done on a Mac and therefore shared with all of the user's devices, it is still possible to hide it from those devices where one does not want them.
If you still want to subscribe on the iOS device, please follow these instructions.

Google Calendar does not care about alarms in subscribed calendars. But you can set the alarms in a different way.
Google Calendar updates calendar subscriptions every 12 or 24 hours. There is no way for the user to force Google Calendar to update more often. You can either just wait up to 24 hours for Google Calendar to update, or you can change the subscription identifier. When the identifier is changed, Google doesn't find the calendar in its cache and is forced to download it.
