How do I download calendar data via the API?

If you have a Pro reikningur, you can download most calendars in various formats through the API. This is intended for users who use to utilize the data in applications, websites and such.

Please note that API access is not available for the following calendars: Pokémon Go viðburðir, Frjókorn, Eldflaugaskot, Sjávarföll, UV vísitala, Veður, Orð dagsins, Hafnabolti, Körfubolti, Formúla 1, NCAA Football, NFL, Íshokkí, Blandaðar bardagaíþróttir, Snóker mót, Fótbolti, Tennis, WRC, Landskosningar, Kosningadagatal í Bandaríkjunum, Meðganga.

Step 1

First you need to create a calendar subscription.

Be sure to select a file format under the Dagatal tab.

On the calendar you just created, click and select Afritaðu heimilisfangið á klemmuspjaldið.

Now that you have the calendar and its subscription address, you can use your application to periodically download the content.
