I'm getting notifications of an expired subscription from Webcal.fi.

Webcal.fi was the predecessor of WebCal.Guru. That old site was closed on 31st May 2021. If you're interested, there's an article about the closure and its background.

Because Webcal.fi calendars no longer work, there is a notification telling this to the people who have a subscription from that site. The old subscriptions will keep producing error messages, so they should be removed.

You may not remember creating a calendar subscription. A calendar subscription is just a web address stored in the calendar application. The application downloads data from that address and shows it in the calendar. It can't be removed remotely, only from the application itself.

After removing the old one, you're of course welcome to create new similar subscriptions at the Calendars page.

Step 1

To identify which calendar should be removed, please take a look at the notification.

It will say Calendar name” has expired. Keep the calendar name in your mind as it will be needed soon.

Note that you may have more than one subscription from Webcal.fi, which means you may have more than one subscription to remove.

Step 2

Once you know the calendar name to be removed, please proceed to the instructions for removal.

Since each application is a bit different, you'll need to select your application/platform/device first.
