How do I subscribe to a calendar?

When subscribing calendars to Apple devices, it can be done either directly to the device or via iCloud. The main difference is that when the subscription is done via iCloud, the subscription is automatically shared with all of the user's Apple devices. Usually this is just what the user wants.

On an iOS device (iPhone/iPad), it is not possible to subscribe via iCloud. All subscriptions done on an iOS device will be stored on that device only. Therefore it is recommended to subscribe using a Mac computer, and then the subscription is automatically shared with the iOS devices as well.

Note that even if the subscription is done on a Mac and therefore shared with all of the user's devices, it is still possible to hide it from those devices where one does not want them.

If you still want to subscribe on the iOS device, please follow these instructions.

On the Calendars page, select a calendar you like.
