How does WebCal.Guru work?
WebCal.Guru provides content for your calendar application to display in your calendar. Of course you select the content to show.
Think about a web browser, such as the one you're using right now (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Opera, etc). A browser downloads a web page, such as this one, and displays it.
A calendar application does basically the same thing for calendar content. Aside from showing events created by yourself, your calendar application can download events from the web and display them in your calendar.
Calendar subscriptions are like browser's bookmarks - links pointing to the source of the data. The main difference is that a calendar application downloads the data automatically whereas a browser needs to be told what to download each time.
WebCal.Guru is not an application running on your device. There is nothing from this site that runs on your device. WebCal.Guru only provides data for your calendar application to display.

The browser sends calendar data to a calendar application for processing.
Step 3
The subscription is added to your calendar.
Notice the icon - it tells that this calendar is downloaded from the internet.
Step 4
Events from the new subscription are shown in your calendar. You may click on the event to open it and find additional information and a link to more details.
Step 5
Weeks and months pass.
The calendar application automatically downloads updated content and the calendar is always up-to-date.
Step 6
If you no longer wants to see this calendar subscription, unsubscribing is easy.
