How do I enable alarms?

Step 1

On the Calendars page, select a calendar you wish enable alarms for.

Click Edit.

Click the tab Alarms and adjust the alarm settings as you like.

If the list of calendars is not visible, select View Show Calendar List.

Now that the list is visible, check that all the titles on the left are open. These titles can include iCloud, On My Mac, Google Calendar, Other etc.

To open a title, click the beside the name.

Right-click on the calendar and select Get Info.

In the Info dialog, make sure Remove Alerts and Ignore alerts are both OFF.

Click OK. The alarm settings will be updated in your calendar the next time the calendar data is downloaded.

To do it right away, open the View menu and select Refresh Calendars.
