How do I enable alarms for calendar events?

Most calendar applications remove alarms from calendar subscriptions. In order to see the alarms, in most cases you have to turn enable alarms in the subscription and remove filtering in your application. For details how to do this, take a look at the Help section for your platform/application below.

On the Kalender page, select a calendar you wish to enable alarms for and click Bearbeiten.

Click on the tab Alarme and adjust the alarm settings as you like.

Click Speichern.

Now you must prevent your calendar application from removing the alarms. By default they do not show alarms, so this has to be done for each application. If you can't find how to do this, please take a look at the instructions below for most common calendar applications. You may also send us email to [email protected]. The new settings take effect the next time your application downloads the calendar data, usually within a couple days. You may also do it manually to receive the update right away.
